Hi,

I have not found any information about an Engineer version for Linux distributions.

Is this planned or considered? I really love the Idea of a more open PLC, and since the PLC runs on Linux, I had high hopes of finding a plcnext engineer version for Linux distributions.

    There was a discussion some time ago.

    And at that moment there was no plans to provide ide support in linux environment.

    Hi PLCnext-Community,

    unfortunately, there is currently no Linux-capable solution planned. The PLCnext Engineer is primarily based on .NET libraries. However, a web-application is in discussion. Unfortunately, a detailed roadmap for this solution is not yet available.

    We will keep you updated, if anything will change in near future.
