How connect EPC 1502 and PLCNext Engineer with WI-FI

Hello everyone,

I would like to connect via PLCNext Engineer software (version 2024.0.3) to the EPC 1502 (Firmware: 2024.0.3) device via WLAN module.

I have configured inside the EPC both LAN1 and WLAN1, with both I can connect via browser to the EPC.

The device is pingable via both configurations but when I want to connect to the EPC via Cockpit it is only possible for me via LAN.

Is it possible to connect via Cockpit to the EPC via wi-fi?

    Hello Luca,

     

    I have contacted our Controls Support team and sadly they told me that this isn`t possible with the PLCnext Engineer.

    Because of system stability we provide only the onboard LAN1 and LAN2 ports.

     

    You can connect the EPC if you change the setting in the cockpit.
