AXCF2152 with Codesys SL & TP3xxx (FW 2.5x) with Codesys driver don't comunicate

Dear All,

I'm testing the solution with AXCF2152 (Codesys Runtime) e TP3xxx with Visu+ Codesys driver. (>FW2.5xx)
They doesn't comunicate using Visu+ driver because it seems that gateway is missing on PLCnext or TP3xxx.

If I STOP the firewall on PLCnext, "localhost" gateway discovers the AXF2152 as device.

If I START the firewall on PLCnext, "localhost" gateway doesn't discover the AXF2152 as device, also if all rules are accepted as incoming & outgoing.

If I add a new gateway from Codesys and search for the PLCnext IP address , It doesn't discovers it.

This is very strange, with a PC Linux with Codesys RT on board, the adding new gateway procedoure works very well and find it.

Someone could help me please ?

    Hi Fabrizio,

    how and which rules did you activated?

    I guess you already received from 3S already a list of the needed ports, if so can you send it to us?

    In general it is very important that you use the WBM, otherwise it could happen that the configurations are overwritten.

    Hello Frank,

    We use standard rools and port 1217/1200 V3 driver,

    but the problem has been forwarded to the PMs (Italy, Germany and USA) because it seems a Gateway missing issue because it's not present on TP3xxx and it's not present on AXCF2152.

    On Codesys Raspberry runtime gateway is present. And the TP3xxx can connect directly to it.

    At the moment the news I have had are that it's not possible. We suggested to install the gateway on TP3xxx to standarize with all Codesys 's PLC solutions, we'll see.

    Also a gateway on PlCNext solution is accepted, the strange from customer's point of views is two Phoenix devices with Codesys's driver and runtime can't speak eachother.

    we fixed it with Edge Gateway from Codesys download.

    Hi All, in the enclosed PDF you find some explanation and some details regarding the CODESYS Gateway.

    Very important: You need minimum one Gateway in the network.

    The Visu+ driver support currently only communication over PLCHandler CODESYS Gateway and not direct over 3S ARTI.
