Error when loading user library: Ambiguous ID

Hello,

Me and my team have been using a user library created on C# with no problems for many revisions. Today however, I compiled on Visual and sent to my colleague and when he selects "Replace Library" he gets the error:

"The referenced library could not be loaded because it would cause ambiguous ids."

I can load the same library on my laptop, so the library seems OK.

 

What does this error mean?

    Hi Alex,

    One way this error can happen is if the name of the PLCnext Engineer library file (i.e. the .pcwlx file) was changed in Windows Explorer, or from the Windows command prompt.

    Hi Martin,

    I don't think the name was changed.

    For now, closing PLCEngineer and opening again solved the problem.
