EPC1522 InfluxDB Chronograf

Just starting up with the new EPC1522 and want to set a new InfluxDB Connection with Chronograf. So at 192.168.1.10:8888 I enter Username and Password and leave the rest as default, push 'Add Connection, skip the other screens, and at the end push 'View All Connections'. I should get an overview of the present connections, but I get the 'Welcome to Chronograf' screen again. What is going wrong? Also at http://192.168.1.10:8086 I get '404 page not found' and at https://192.168.1.10:8086 I get error code 'SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG'

Any help is welcome.

Kind regards, Wilco

  • Hello meewis,

I haven't heard of such behaviour yet. Just in case, I did start up a new EPC out of the box.
The InfluxDB Welcome-page is presented once, I did film the process, in case you did any configuration different.

I am connected to my EPC via the X2 Lan port (default: 192.168.2.10) and start the cockpit via 192.168.2.10/cockpit via Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Is there any configuration that differs from mine? Do you start InfluxDB out of the cockpit?

For the other question regarding the adress "http://192.168.1.10:8086" -> What are you trying to connect to? There is no application behind port 8086 "out-of-the-box".
Did you install any package you are trying to reach?

Please feel free to ask any question.
    Best regards,
    Daniel
  • Hello Daniel,

Thanks for reaching out your helping hand.

I'm connected on LAN1 (192.168.1.10) and I noticed you are connected on LAN2 (192.168.2.10), but I suppose that is not part of my problem.

As an answer on your questions; yes it's all out off the box. First I started Node-Red and saw that already there was flow present (something about Influx Retention Policy).

I made also a small movie to show you what is happening.

Looking forward to your (or others) reaction.

    Kind regards, Wilco
