1152 cannot be restored

hello, I’m not able to restore as factory my controller 1152. I was working with 2020.3 firmware and no external SD card. Today I installed PLCNextEngineer 2020.6 version on my laptop (¿error?). I migrated my project in progress and I made some modifications without a problem until I tried to test PLCNextBase 1.3.0 Libary. Firstly I called the service component program, I programed the logic described in https://s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/plcnext-store-prod/doc/PLCnextBase_1_3_0_FBFun-20200712164920.pdf 4.2.1.2 section, and I restarted controller. Everything was ok and I could connect online like a normal situation. After that, I tried to test PBCL_SysNetwork_1 function block, and just making a download, the controller stopped to communicate, just boot led was flashing in red and D led was fixed orange color with no ping response. I’ve tried to: 1) restart the controller (no ping response to normal IP)

  1. restore the controller to defaults type 1 process many times (no ping to default IP 192.168.1.10)
  2. restore the controller to defaults type 2 process many times (no ping to default IP 192.168.1.10) In all cases boot led was flashing in red and D led was fixed orange color. What can I do?

Hello, We will need some more information about the controller. Is it OK if we contact you by email, at the address that you used to sign up to this Community? ~ Martin.

Hello Martin, It’s ok, thank you

Being handled by email.

Hi Martin,

I have exactly the same issue, what would be the recommendation for troubleshooting?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Roberto

This is from a conversation under another post on the same topic:

Please try a Type 2 reset using the procedure described on page 32 of the user manual. Afterwards, please wait a long time (up to 30 minutes) before cycling power to the device again, just to make sure the recovery procedure has finished.I have managed to recover a device that was in the state you describe, but I had to repeat this procedure a few times. However, I know there are others who have not been able to successfully recover a PLC from this state. If that is the case for you, then I am afraid you will need to contact the Phoenix Contact office in your country to arrange a repair or replacement. If you are able to tell me what country you are in, I can notify someone in the relevant office about this issue and ask them to contact you.
