I’m having some difficulties with the 2025 version of PLCNext Engineer. I have a laptop on a location that does not have internet that runs this version. The PLCs at that location are on a 2023 firmware. It looks like the Modbus TCP 15 library that I’m using is not compatible with the 2025 version as it was with 2024. I get error code SEM1190 on functions like TLS_SOCKET_2. I am unable to get the laptop off site and I am unable to transfer files to the site location. Is there a way to remedy this issue. Why am I getting these errors when I haven’t from other versions of PLCNext. I have replicated the problem on my personal computer by trying to load the 2024 file to the 2025 application.
Hello, if you use PLCnext Engineer 2025.x then you need to update the Modbus library to version 16. The location of the TLS function blocks has changed in this version.
