do the plcnext devices support network authentification according to 802.1x via PEAP?
I’m not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but there was a Makers Blog post on this topic some years ago:

Since then, [b]wpa_supplicant[/b] has been included with the firmware, so there is no need to install this separately.
