Acquiring GPS location using TC Router

I’m quite certain without additional GPS hardware over RS485, gathering GPS information is not possible; however, I am wondering if with a TC Router alone, could the GPS location be more accurately be determined, more than just using the public IP?
It’s always beneficial to not have to add more hardware if the existing hardware is capable, especially since we already have systems installed.

Unfortunately, the TC Router does not support anything like that. I believe you would need to use FL TIMESERVER NTP - Wireless module - 1107132 | Phoenix Contact.

It also looks like you can use some of our MGuard routers like TC MGUARD RS4000 4G VPN - Router - 2903586 | Phoenix Contact. This has a GPS receiver built into it so you can get location data.
