Is it possible to connect a inline bus coupler IL MOD BK DI8 DO4 to a AXC F 2152 with RS UNI card?

I believe this is possible. There is this Modbus_RTU library on the PLCnext store (PLCnext Store | Modbus_RTU). It provides functionblocks to communicate with the controller.
At the bottom of the picture you have these additionally required modules. The AXL F RS UNI 1H you suggested is one of them. There are also several SE (smart element) options, if you prefer.
