Axcf 2152 sd card

Format sd card of axcf 2152
Is there a way to do it?

Hello!
If you deal with official sd cards of internal or external placement.
Take a look at https://github.com/plcnextusa/PLCnext-Guides/blob/master/PLCnext%20-%20Erase%20SD%20Flash%20Card.pdfAlso https://github.com/plcnextusa/PLCnext-Guides/blob/master/Appendices/Appendix%201%20Types%20of%20Resets%20and%20how%20to%20Reset%20the%20AXC%20F%202152.pdf
Probably it will be useful for you.
If you want to experiment with regular SD card attached to plc, then you have to disable support of external SD via WBM, and then use cli tools of plc via ssh.
Best regards

Thanks for your answer !!
I have one more question.
When this command is executed,
root@axcf2152: rm -r upperdir work
root@axcf2152: recover-axcf2152 1
will only the files on the sd card be formatted?
Is there no change to the axcf2152 device?
I’m scared for break down this device.

You are right, operations with sd card can be significantly sensitive and may lead to malfunction of device.
So you have to know exact what you are going to do. But if you kindly follow instructions at attached files, you should not face with troubles.
As for me, for test proposes and studying I make several copies of internal sd of plc via dd and regular gui tool of ubuntu disk managing tool. And now feel myself much more safety while doing my experiments) . So if you are not limited by warranty restriction and can freely access to device, probably this will be a solution for you too.
Actually there is several partitions on the sd dedicated for recovery proposes, so make it brick functionality is a very special case.
If you don’t fill yourself freely enough, probably just recovery-axcf2152 type 1 will be suitable for you.
Please kindly follow attached link to receive more comprehensive understanding of plc sd card organization

Thanks Oleksndr Guminskiy !
I format my SD card, and it works well
However, WBM’s Notifications do not come up after initialization.
image.pngDo you know how to solve it?

Dear park, I wonder, where do you find out sd card slot at EPC 1502… And how previously mentioned axc 2152 was converted to ege pc)) You made me confused) It seems formatting goes too far…

Sorry,
I did the SD card format of axcf2152 without any problems.
However, after erasing the internal SD card on epc1502, the Notification on the WBM does not log.
I did ,

  1. root@epc1502: cd /media/rfs/internalsd
  2. root@epc1502: rm -r upperdir work
  3. root@epc1502: recover-epc1502 1

There is no any new log records at all, or some of them are missed?
Are you sure, that previously all output.log data mirrored to WMB diagnostic log?
According to my experience, WMB diagnostic filter some of the messages not sufficient for hi level operations, and the most comprehensive loging can be found at at /opt/plcnext/logs/ and /var/volatile/log/
