Hi!, I have a problem with the Axioline Bus, it has been worked but now isn’t. ? I have 1152 model and 16DI/16DO2H devices connected by Axioline Bus, the led into PLC is RED and blinking and the Led in the DI/DO module is off. I can see this in the WBM: Diagnostic Status Register: 0x0284 and in the PLC logs: Axioline State changed: RDY BUS FAIL (0x0084), ErrorCode=0x0a2f, AddInfo=0x0000 What could be the problem? Thanks in advance
Hello, You may not have seen it (it is easy to miss), but there is an Axioline User Manual - “UM EN AXL F SYS DIAG” - which can be downloaded from our website, and which contains information on the error code that you have seen: So, it looks like the PLC does not see any Axioline I/O modules. Please check that all modules are seated firmly on the DIN rail, and that there are no bent or broken pins on the back of any of the modules. Regards,
Martin.
Hi MArtin, thanks for your replay I saw the error code in the PDF but I as I mentioned It was working and without any modification it stopped to work…I removed it and connected again but nothing… so the only troubleshooting is physically? I mean there isn’t nothing to do with Program, or some file configuration? Thanks
In this case I do suspect a hardware issue - either a faulty connection somewhere, or else a damaged I/O module that is no longer communicating on the Axioline bus, but that would be unusual. Just to be 100% sure - can you please:
* remove the PLC and I/O module(s) from the DIN rail * make sure that there are no damaged pins on the DIN-rail connectors - incuding the pins between each pair of DIN rail connectors. * clip each of the connectors back on to the DIN rail, and then slide them together. * re-seat the PLC and I/O module(s) on the DIN-rail connectorsPlease let us know the result. ~ Martin.
Hi Martin, yes it was a problem with the pins, some of them were little bit moved and I just moved and it started to works. Thanks for your support! BR
As a note, I had this same issue and error code and found this discussion. My bus connector was not seated correctly and a pin was bent on the controller. Luckily, I was able to straighten this pin and get it working.
Hi, I have the same error (0x0284) and followed the procedure:
* remove the PLC and I/O module(s) from the DIN rail * make sure that there are no damaged pins on the DIN-rail connectors - incuding the pins between each pair of DIN rail connectors. * clip each of the connectors back on to the DIN rail, and then slide them together. * re-seat the PLC and I/O module(s) on the DIN-rail connectorsAnd it worked, it was very useful for me.
Thank you all.
