Hi Everyone, I’m already got a Library (AXL_ComSerial_5) from PLCNext store But, I can’t find an Example project file of Comserial with RS-485/232 in any program PCWORX or PLCNext engineer. please help me to share your example project file.
and I think it’s a good idea if PLCNext store has an example project file for any Library

Hi Varottarit, There are two similar libraries in the PLCnext Store - AXL_ComSerial (which you mentioned), and ComSerial. The AXL_ComSerial library contains one function block that helps configure the parameters of RS UNI modules (e.g. baud rate) at run-time. If you do not need to change these parameters at run-time, then you do not need to use this library. If you do need to do this, then the technical information in the User Guide for the RS UNI module should help understand how to use this function block. If you do not need to change the module configuration at run-time, but you just want to send and receive serial messages, then you can use the function blocks in the ComSerial library. There is an example at the end of the PDF file that comes with this library, showing how to use the function blocks in PLCnext Engineer. I agree that examples are useful. This is primarily the responsibility for the developer(s) of individual PLCnext Engineer libraries, and you can give that feedback directly to them using the “Contact Developer” button on the app page in the PLCnext Store.
