Delete PLCnext-component manually

Hello,
in a previous post (https://www.plcnext-community.net/forum/#/discussion/4278) I have asked for the integration of the „Thread Example“ program which I could then successfully import to PLCnext Engineering and instatiate it to a task.
However, trying to build and download it with PLCnext Engineer caused an error because of different firmware versioning. So, I deleted the Instance of the program from „Task & Events“ panel and deleted also the Thread-Example-library from the right navigation panel of PLCnext Eng…
THis results now in an immideate error complaining about the missing library. If I add the lib again the error disappears.
Trying to delete the lib from the right naviagation pane and then the component from the left project pane is not possible. Even though the lib was deleted the component in the project remains. How can i delete the component from the project tree - a ‚delete option‘ is not available …?
I’m using the latest PLCnext Engineer 2025.0.

Thanks & Best regards,

Hi Ralf,
you delete the Components by double clicking the PLCnext Components node, selecting the component and delete it via DEL or toolbar command.

Sorry, this post can be negleted.
I just managed to delete the component by simply using the Delete-Button of the keyboard. I was looking at the mouse context menu instead

Many thanks for your respond. I have actually another question which I will cover in another post
