Is it possible to include a OPC-UA node set file within a .pcwlx library which is then deployed to /opt/plcnext/projects/<current>/Services/OpcUA/NodeSets/ as the project is written to the controller?
Not only would this simplify deployment but also would make sure, that the custom node set is only present if the custom functions (of the library) it references are present on the device.

If this is possible - and I think it might be - it would use a tool that is also used by the PLCnext Toolchain when building .pcwlx library files. Unfortunately that tool has no documentation and it is not supported for direct use. I would like to suggest that you contact the technical support team in your local Phoenix Contact office (email: automation-service@phoenixcontact.de), and check if they are able to help with a solution.
