EN and ENO on Certain Function Blocks Missing

I hate to ask this question because I know that something similar was asked a while back but I couldn’t find it. When I upgraded my software. certain instructions that I had used such as MOVE and ADD, SUB, etc… are missing the EN inputs. I was calling these functions upon an event in line with my program. So my questions are
[] Will they be returning so that I can bring my programs up to date? [] What is the reasoning behind removing them?
If they are not coming back, is there another way to accomplish the same thing easily. (Im sure there is)
Would this be a more feasible solution?

Hi AC, this is the thread you were thinking of’ https://www.plcnext-community.net/en/discussions/using-an-input-to-trigger-a-move-of-a-real-number.html All the answers to your questions are in that thread. Unfortunately there is no update on when the EN/ENO feature will be re-introduced to PLCnext Engineer.

Thanks Martin. I have to say I really appreciate the response times that you guys give and also the knowledge base that you have. I do have to say that I look through the help files before I ask a question so thank you for humoring my questions!

No problem, thanks for the feedback. I also had a little trouble finding that old thread, but I knew it was there somewhere! Our re-designed Forum (arriving later this year) will have a better search function. Have a great week.
