Ethernet IP/ Explicit messaging

Hello all, i am looking for some help if possible please.

I am currently exploring our options for sending data (integers) to a fanuc robot - more specifically to populate data registers, and position registers.

One way this is possible is by using the Explicit messaging function within the Fanuc controller. I have seen examples of this been done within RSLogix 5000 software. I havent seen this done in PLC next or a function for explicit messaging.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we can combat this please?

Katie,
Thank you for your question. Someone from your local PxC office will be in touch shortly. However just for completeness, there was a thread regarding FANUC < PLCnext communciation here: Forum - PLCnext Community
A PLCnext Controller can currently be an Ethernet/IP Device, so the FANUC robot must be an Etherent IP scanner. There is currently no Ethernet IP explicit messaging in PLCnext as that is usually handled by the scanner (robot).
