Greetings forum! I am a new member in the community. I work in the oil and gas industry as a control systems engineer and I would like to learn more about PLCNext. Since I am new on this topic, I would like to ask for suggestions on material that can help me gain knowledge about what PLCNext is all about and start using in. Feel free to send me any content (articles, websites, brochures, etc.) anything helps! ? Best Regards
Hi, for a beginner I can recommend to have a look at the eLearnings that are available in the community. You can find them in the knowledge base menu. They are completely free and a good starting point.
Welcome! The Info Center is the authoritative reference for all areas of PLCnext Technology. If you are familiar with „classic“ PLCs from other manufactuers, then PLCnext Engineer will probably be a good way to get started: https://www.plcnext.help/te/PLCnext_Engineer/Getting_started_with_PLCnext_Engineer.htm This will introduce you to some of the unique features of PLCnext Technology. Then, if you are interested in programming the PLC in languages like C# or C++, you can work through the relevant sections of the Info Center: https://www.plcnext.help/te/Programming/Introduction.htm If you want to go deep into the architecture of the PLCnext Runtime, you can learn about that too: https://www.plcnext.help/te/PLCnext_Runtime/Core_component.htm And, if you need personal help, you can always ask questions here in the PLCnext Community Forum. ~ Martin.
