Hi I do have a request.
It would be nice if it was possible to set visual border boundaries for symbols.
For example:
- Rectangle 400 by 400 at X0, Y0. A yellow block 400 by 400 at X-400, Y0.
- Over time the yellow block will slide into vision towards X0, Y0.
- Now the issue is as follows:
The HMI page where to implement it has a rectangle from 300 by 300 at say X-300, Y100.
- We implement the „Slide“ symbol that we made at X0, Y0.
- Now the Yellow bit is in front/behind the 300by300 rectangle and visible.
- It is not possible to set a background color in front of the yellow rectangle as this will interfere from time to time with other overlapping symbols.
- Solution:
Set border boundaries for symbols
- This will prevent „bleed over“ from the yellow rectangle at X-400
- The yellow rectangle will only be (progressively) visible from X0, Y0
With kind regards,
Sharp_Stone
Dear Sharp_Stone,
Thank you for the description of the problem, do you also have screenshots or a video to let us „see“ the problem? That would help us with defining the problem.

Hi Henk,
I uploaded a screen-capture video of the „situation“ hopefully this will clarify my intensions.
The yellow bar is a visual representation of when the start button can be pressed again after a certain time.
(for demonstration purposes it is now in a loop)

Hi Sharp_Stone,
We have passed your request to the software department as an improvement request.
So hopefully this problem will be fixed in a future release.
Thank you for you input.
