How can I downgrade a Firmware Version?

Do you mean the firmware of our PLCnext controller? You can upload an older firmware file via the controller’s web server under System > Update. Please ensure that you revise your PLCnext Engineer project—including the firmware template, libraries compatible with the firmware version, etc.

Hi Dario,

Thank you for your question. We do not recommend downgrading the firmware version, since the firmware is backwards compatible. Yet, if you deem it necessary, you can realize it by making a Reset Type 2. In the manual you find a description of the procedure: CEPE manual .
