Hello, How to add RFC 4072S to PLCnext Engineer 2019.6 project? After PLCnext Engineer 2019.6 started I have page with only AXC F 2152 controllers (image in the attachment). Thank you.
Hi Dzmitry, To use the RFC in PLCnext Engineer 2019.6:
1. Create an empty project (not using one of the templates). 2. Add the "RFC" Library. 3. The RFC will now appear in the hardware catalog. Drag the Controller into the project folder ... butThis last step will not work unless you have a licence for the Functional Safety Editor installed on your PLCnext Engineer machine. In future it will be possible to create standard programs for the RFC in PLCnext Engineer without the Functional Safety Editor licence, but I’m afraid that I have no information on when this will be possible … - Martin (also have moved this to the PLCnext Engineer topic).
Hello Martin, How to get the Functional Safety Editor licence?
You can order this licence from your local Phoenix Contact subsidiary.
Hi Martin, Please confirm whether the functional safety editor is still required for standard programming of RFC 4072S in PLCnext Engineer 2020 revision or not?
Hi Vishal, Yes, the functional safety editor is still required for standard programming of RFC 4072S in PLCnext Engineer 2020. ~ Martin.
Hello Martin, I cant find this product on our websites or catalog? Which is its right name or ord.nr.? Thanks, Roman
Hi Roman, From the PLCnext Engineer product page, click the “Configure” button and you will see the “Functional Safety Editor” add-in. When you fill in all the mandatory fields on that page, you end up with an order code something like this: 1046008/P00/L01/1/NO/NO/NO/04/NO/NO/NO/NO/NO/NO/NO/NO/NO/NO/NO/C01 … which you can use to order the add-in license(s) in the usual way. ~ Martin.
Alles klar, Martin, merci, I didn’t know it. Take care, Roman.
