How to read PN records of FL Swicth 2XXX

Hi, I would like to use FL switch 2308 Ver.2.80 as a Profinet Device of PLCnext. Although I can register it in PLCnext Engineer, I cannot read PN record in the attached record index. I tried to use PDRV_Param_Read function in PROFIdrive_1 library. But I’m not sure what kind of parameters should be set to dwNodeID, bDriveObject and uiParameterNumber. Please tell me how to read PN records of FL Switch2308. Best regards,

Hi hue1234, the Profidrive library is not the right one, as it is specifically designed for drives.

To read/write to generic Profinet devices you can use the standard Profinet Functionblocks RDREC and WRREC. They are both part of the PLCnext Engineer standard Profinet library. Take care Frank
