Hi, Looking for the guidance on how to install 32-bit GCC on the controller. Tried a lot in web but found only 64-bit GCC not 32-bit. It would be a great help if anyone helps in providing the instructions to install 32-bit GCC on the PLC next. Thanks & Regards, Sarath.
Hello Sarath. I don’t have any detailed guidance but it may be possible to create a native gcc compiler by downloading the gcc source code (from somewhere like https://developer.arm.com/open-source/gnu-toolchain/gnu-rm/downloads), then cross-compiling this code using the relevant PLCnext Toolchain (for Windows or Linux). There is a section in this Community with Cross-Compile guides for other open-source software packages, which give a good idea of the steps required: https://plcnext-community.net/index.php?option=com_content&view;=category&layout;=blog&id;=23&Itemid;=307⟨=en&limitstart;=0 At the moment I don’t have time to check if this will work, but I would be interested to know if you make any progress - a native GCC complier may be useful for other PLCnext users. We will probably look at this internally after the next major firmware release. - Martin
