Attached image shows error that results due to exceeding the mass storage. Is there a way to expand this? If not, what is the AXC F 3152 mass storage?..I can’t find this in the technical details.
Hi Josh, I have moved this question to the „PLCnext Engineer“ topic. On page 101 of the attached user manual, the program memory for the AXC F 3152 is listed as 16 MB. Your screen shot indicates that your PLCnext Engineer project requires more than 17 MB. Hope this helps. ~ Martin.
Do we have any way to increase this storage? I thought the AXC F 3152 would offer more space but the available storage is the same as the AXC F 2152.
Hi Josh, The Program Memory in the AXC F 3152 is double that of the 1152 and 2152 (see page 96). I am almost certain that there is no way to increase this, otherwise the user manual would not give a fixed value (sorry).
Thanks, I figured this was the case as well. Also, I am looking at the mass storage and I can’t find were it is double. If I check the technical details for the axc f 2152 on the website and in the manual it seems to be 16 MB as well. I do understand the program memory is double but the mass storage seems to be the issue with the customer’s project. Thoughts?
The „Mass Storage“ is also double on the AXC F 3152 : 32 MB (page 101) vs. 16 MB (page 96). The error message in your screen shot says „project data“, which I assume - because of the values quoted - is referring to the Program Memory on the AXC F 3152. The PLCnext Engineer error message could be clearer - e.g. it could use the same terminology as the User Manual - but in any case it appears that the 3152 has double the Program Memory, double the Mass Storage, and presumably double the Project Memory (whatever that refers to), when compared with the 1152 and 2152.
