Hello together,
we are currently facing a problem, when we try to establish a modbus TCP connection to a different network.
Our device hast the IP 172.20.253.10. The correct gateway is referenced. We try to connect to the IP 10.100.8.70 with a Modbus Client. (Previously we’ve checked, that the VLANs are connected and all Ports are open)
It’s not possible to establish a connection to the modbus server.
I’ve also recorded a tcp dump on the PLC and there is no entry, that the PLC is sending packets to the referenced gateway, to be able to reach the modbus server with IP 10.100.8.70.
Is there any known problem when you specify an IP address from a different network on the Modbus TCP Client function block?
