Hello, I have the problem that I have a PLC controller on which there is a running program. This is a school project and I only have the one program on the PLC, no backup. Now on the Sps AXC F 2152 is the version 2022.0.8 and I do not have this version to select in PLC Next. So when creating a new project, that is I can not connect, with a firmware update I am afraid that I delete the programming, is there any way to make a backup of the programming, without firmware Update?
Hi, you can create a project in PLCnext Engineer and change the template to the old firmware version. Alternatively, a firmware update on the PLC is possible without loosing the project.
Thanks nice, unfortunately I don’t see anywhere the possibility to change the template to an older version, how is that possible?
To change the template, select the template from the Network section on the right in PLCnext Engineer. Right click on it and select copy. Then go to the controller in the plant section, right click, replace. This will change the template.

My Version (2022.0.8) is not in the list, can i add it?
Ok, Thank You, i got a connection with Version 2022.0.0!
So, the last question, because i dont want to erase the project on the sps. How can i download the current project that is on the sps?
You can only download it if it has been stored with the sources before. There is an option to download the source file from the PLC in the cockpit of the PLC in PLCnext engineer (arrow pointing up). If the sources have not been stored on the device before, there is no way to download the project into PLCnext Engineer.
