Hello, I have an older Phoenix Contact bus coupler: il-pn-bk-di8-do4-2tx/nc => Product page. I would like to use it with the starter kit if possible (AXC F 2152). I’m guessing it is not possible because it is no longer supported but I’m hoping it is still possible? EDIT => it is possible So first I uploaded the firmware to 3.41 (I’m using version HW02). Added it offline to my project. Then I downloaded the GSDML file (HW02 V3.41) Link FW => errors regarding a version conflict online (offline is the version 00/3.41u or something) I opened the GSDML file in notepad and changed the following: Unmodified \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t\t I still have two warnings but I’m able to make it work. To write the outputs you go to Profinet => Data list => And for output 0.0 you have the corresponding Process data item „devicename“/2/1/OUT0.
Hello seafoxc, I assume, the il-pn-bk-di8-do4-2tx/nc has the similar hardware/FW as IL PN BK DI8 DO4 2TX-PAC (https://www.phoenixcontact.com/en-za/products/io-component-il-pn-bk-di8-do4-2tx-pac-2703994). You can also try to include the „il-pn-bk-di8-do4-2tx-pac“ into PN configuration without editing the GSDML file. Best Regards Eduard
@Eduard PLCnext Team, I tried that at the beginning but de device ID is not the same in the GSD files. You get an error (see attached image) and no connection is possible to the station.
