I recently received an AXC2152 and I’ve been working through the tutorials trying to get toggle some IOs and get some blinking lights. I’m familiar with C# so I thought I’d start there… I’m working with an alpha of PCWE 7.3 (build 42.0.1804.262) that was included with the controller. After generating a function block library in Visual Studio (consisting of a single default function generated from the template), trying to import it into a PCWE project produces two SEM1013 errors (Invalid data type ‘Void’.). It also produces two of the same errors when importing an eCLR function library with no functions at all. I tried to get a license for the free edition PCWE 7.2.3 in the US e-shop to see if the bug persisted, but the entire category where PCWE should be seems to be empty and I’m unable access it. I downloaded the PCWE demo some months back to try it out and the license has expired.
Hello, On this question, you will receive support directly from your local Phoenix Contact subsidiary. I expect that you will hear from someone early next week. In case it helps, the official release of that software version will happen later this month, along with new PLC firmware. The software will still be free, and the licencing model will be much simpler. I expect that the problems you describe with the C# library will not occur in the release version. - Martin.
Hello, We will manage that support locally, please contact me at ychamarelli@phoenixcon.com
@hstocker, if you’re not in the USA then please let me or Yuri know and I’ll ask your local subsidiary to get in touch. - Martin.
