PLC clock discrepancy

After a project is loaded to PLC and ran for a few days, the RTC_TYPE system variable may display the correct clock (date and time) but the RTC_S and PBCL_DateTimeGet_1 display a time that is 19 hours behind. The discrepancy is corrected after rebooting PLC. Why does this happen? How to prevent?

Hi Alex, Can you please tell us the PLC model (e.g. AXC F 2152) and the firmware version you are using? There have been issues reported similar to the one you describe, which were addressed in firmware version 2020.6. ~ Martin.

Thanks Martin. PLC: AXC F 2152 PLCNextEngineer: 2020.3 PLC FW: 2020.3 Again, I think I posted on wrong forum. Thanks!

Hi Alex, (The PLCnext Engineer topic is the correct one in this case, since the problem appears in the PLCnext Engineer Function Blocks RTC_S and PBCL_DateTimeGet_1). Since you are not using an LTS version of the firmware, the recommendation in this case is to upgrade to the very latest firmware version (2020.6.1), since that version includes bug fixes that will probably solve this issue. If you see the same issue with FW 2020.6.1, please let us know. ~ Martin.
