PLC Next won't start after installation - File not found exception

I have installed PLCNext Engineer 2021.0.1 (Build 4.7.1144.0) on my windows 10 computer for the first time. When I try to launch the program, I get the error below. The installation process completes with no errors… I reboot the computer several times during the installation. I have tried it on 3 computers in our office and get the same result. The file that is reported as missing by the exception is present in the program folder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Scott. Unexpected Exception

Also having issues trying to get thelatest and now none of the older version work. All versions come up with same error Ade.Safety.Compiler.CortexImpl.dll not found/missing. Please help. Thanks. This may be related, after not able to install PLCnext Enrgr I started getting Firefox errors too and cannot start it up or reinstall. VLCRUNTIME_1.dll not found/missing

I have also the same problems as the others. Version 2020.6.2 is no longer running for me either.

Sorry for the delay. There have been cases where an incomplete download of the PLCnext Engineer installer file has caused a problem similar to this. After downloading the PLCnext Engineer installer, please check the file size and checksum against the information on the Download page, e.g. using certutil: certutil -hashfile PLCnext_Engineer_Setup_2021.0.2_LTS_64bit.exe SHA256 If the SHA256 checksums do not match, please download the installer again.

Hallo Martin, der Fehler besteht weiterhin. Ich habe die Version 2021.0.1 deinstalliert, die neue Version 2021.0.2 heruntergeladen, mit certutil geprüft (Hash ist i.O.) und installiert. I also had this issue and I solved it reinstalling visual C++ 2019 (VC_redist.x64).

Hi all, The developers have now confirmed that the reported stack traces are related to the VC++ redistributables. Thanks to ayxworks for the tip.
