PLCNext Engineer on Windows 11 in a VM

Hello Support Team,
I try to use the PLCNext Engineer 2024.6 and the LTS 2024.0.4 in a VM with Windows 11, after the start I get the Message: Software protection error Debugger detected.
It’s a fresh installation of Windows 11 on ARM64. Can the x64 Software Emulation the Problem?

Hello. PLCNext Engineer does not support ARM architecture of processor.

So it does not support x86 emulation, but I can start it once and after that, the Debugger Message is coming up. I guess it’s an issue with the software protection feature.

Ok, try to update codemeter runtime. It cause some troubles with W11 from time to time.

Hi Sven,
I can only confirm what Oleksandr already mentioned. Currently we do not support ARM architectures, but as we get more and more customer request we’re thinking about to support ARM as well.
