Has anyone ever used an ADFWEB Profinet/BACnet gateway? I’ve been trying to configure it with no success. Here’s the scenario: on one side, I’m monitoring the BACnet network using YABE, and I can see the variables I’ve configured in the gateway with a value of 0. On the other side, I’m monitoring a PLCNext without connecting it to the gateway. So far, everything seems fine. However, as soon as I connect the network cable from my PLC to the gateway, the communication on the BACnet side drops.
I initially suspected that the issue might be due to using a point-to-point cable instead of a crossover cable, but I tried adding a switch in between, and the problem persists.
The only thing I haven’t been able to correct, although I don’t believe it’s the root cause of the problem, is that when I register the gateway on the Profinet network and reference the online equipment with my project’s equipment, I get a warning message. Specifically, it indicates that the project revision does not match the online equipment.
Any insights or comments would be greatly appreciated.
