Hello,
I’m trying a Profinet connection between two AXC F 2152.
One controller should be a slave. It should send some signals from it’s DI-Module to the master. It should also be possible to send some bits from the master-CPU to the slave-CPU in order to switch outputs on the DO-Module.
How can I set up a connection between the CPUs to exchange data?
Hi elektro_ecker,
you can add the second PLC as a Profinet device in your first project and use its process data (DI4096/DQ4096) to exchange data.
In the project for the second PLC you write/read the data from the process data PND_S1_INPUTS / PND_S1_OUTPUTS.
Cheers

Hi would it be possable to get an example of two AXC F via profinet, or some screen shots.
I am looking at doing the same thing but wireless.
Thank you
Are you able to get the procedure in the Info Center working with two devices on the same (wired) LAN?
If not, which step isn’t working?
If your wireless network goes through a router, then that probably won’t work with Profinet, since Profinet is a Layer 2 protocol. There are devices that provide a wireless (Layer 2) link, for example:
