Remotely connecting to PLC

Hello,

My PLC has a given (local) IP address. I also have a VPN setup in such a way that this PLC is remotely reachable through a different external IP address.
I am now wondering how I can remotely access this PLC through my VPN connection. With PLCNext, it only seems possible to connect through its local IP address, and not through its external IP address.
Before, I worked with Siemens PLCs, and in TIA Portal this functionality was present in the form of an „extended go online“ feature.

Hi, I think the ad-hoc address feature of PLCnext Engineer might help in this case:
Ad-hoc IP address instead of project-defined address ');\n mywindow.document.close(); \n mywindow.focus();\n setTimeout(function () {\n mywindow.print();\n mywindow.close();\n }, 1000)\n return true;\n}\r\n\r\n\r\n
