Hi,
Working with Engineer 2025.0.2 LTS and Fimware 2024.0.9 LTS. I’m working on upgrading an Engineer 2023LTS project, but every time I upload to the system it crashes out to a FAIL.
I’m using the following additional libraries:
ModbusTCP_16 (started with Version 12)
PLCNext Base 1.7.1 (I started with version 1.6.2)
PLCNext Controller
Write and start project or write and start changes crashes to FAIL. Most of the time using the cockpit to stop results in a FAIL with no restart possibilities.
Once in a while I can get it to stop successfully, otherwise I have to do a factory reset to reprogram. The program itself is working correctly until I stop it. There’s no other error codes I see in the notifications. The unit is configured for some AXL SE IO that’s currently not connected.
PLC state in these situations is Running|Error|FatalError|Stopping on the Web cockpit. Most of the program is still running (can’t get debug going once I FAILed it) as my eHMI, several rolling text bars, and a few command/response scripts (keypads) work without issue. I’m not certain what else I can do to track down why this is occuring.
