Scan a controller and apply project device settings

Hi,
PLCnext Engineer is able to scan my AXC F 3152 controller, the Status is „Warning“, and I cannot click on „Apply the project device settings to the online device“. Could anyone tell me why this button is deactivated?

Hi Beginner,
I assume the device already got the settings when you selected it in the editor. Hard to tell without a screenshot though.

It looks like I have a problem with the firmware version, which is not the same as the online revision version in the PLCnextEngineer project. Do you know how could I modify the online revision version ?

The online revision is the FW version you use on your PLC… so by updating the FW you get another „online revision version“.
But …to me it looks like it matches already (a difference in minor build number is of no consequence) and PLCnext Engineer wasn’t able to read the firmware revision for some reason. Might be an issue within your network setup or a case of „have you tried turning it (the PLC) off and on again“

I do not think that’ll pose a problem for your project though. You should still be able to write projects to the PLC etc.

And to answer the original question of your post:
All settings that can be changed, meaning Name of Station, IP, Subnet and Default Gateway, are identical in your project and on the PLC.
