Support for CAN J1939 in the CAN Library

Hello, Our customer is using our ILC 131 with IL CAN MA module to communicate with a motor by J1939 that is implemented in the PCWorx Can Library. For the next project, they intend to use the PLCnext. Is there plan to implement J1939 FBs in the CAN library for PLCnext Engineer ? Thank you, Sidnei

Hello Sidnei, Yes, we will release PLCnext Engineer CANbus for J1939 and NMEA for IB IL CAN-MA-PAC - 2700196 and AXL F IF CAN 1H - 2702668. Release date <= 2020-09-30 (But this may improve). Kind regards, Oliver

Dear All, Could you confirm that for PLCnext I can use AXL F IF CAN 1H - 2702668 for J1939 protocol ? Because in the datashheet the FBs seems to be only for inline. Best Greetings Fabrizio

Hi Fabrizio, The J1939 FBs are not released for AXL F IF CAN 1H (2702668). The J1939 FBs for AXL F IF CAN 1H (2702668) will be released in the future, but unfortunately we cannot provide any schedule. (ref: 206961)
