we have several AXC F 2152 CPUs at different customer sites and while deploying another one i get the following status message while applying the proficloud connection settings:
MQTT error [-1]: TCP connect timeout
The CPU has the 2024.0.8 LTS firmware, RTC is set correctly to UTC and synchronized through the ntp pool, the device was added to the proficloud.io DMS prior to the connection attempt, resetting the device token and attempting to reconnect didn’t work, neither did removing the device from the DMS completely. The internet connectivity seems to be OK, the PLCnext store connection is working.

Turns out it was a networking related issue after all, several outgoing ports were blocked in the firewall.
