Error Loading Balluff IO Link GSDML File

Hello,

 

I'm having issues trying to load a GSDML file from a Balluff IO Link Master (BNI005H - BNI PNT-508-105-Z015). After importing the file through PLCnext Engineer, I get the following error message:

 

"Import failed : The imported safety parameters are not valid. C:\Users\myUser\Desktop\Balluff Order\BNI005H - BNI PNT-508-105-Z015\ST_GSDML_BNI_PNT_508_105_Z015_DRF_894200_07_000\GSDML-V2.34-Balluff-BNI-PNT-508-105-Z015-20190301.xml"

    I tried using a BNI004U and had the same issue. What I did was open the GSDML file and search for "safety parameter". Below that line is a small section starting and ending with F_ParameterRecordDataItem... Comment/delete that block and the GSDML should import. I just tested the import with 2019.9 and 2020.0 and they both looked good.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Commenting out that block has solved the issue, thank you! 

    ** will this have an effect on the safety parameters?
