RS UNI Channel Error
Hi,
I am having trouble with connecting RS UNI module(Connected to TPS Bus Coupler via backplane). After connecting my field devices to the RS UNI, I not able to communicate my PLC AXC F 2152 with the RS UNI. The lights on the RS UNI card shows a channel error.
Could you let me know what might be causing it. Also, I need some clarification on how to connect the terminating resistor.

what is the error code you are seeing?
You can login via WBM to your TPS BK to see the Axiolione Diagnostics.
Or if you have a running PN Connection with your PLC already debug it by connecting the Status registers.
For conection instructions please have a look at the datasheet and manual of the RS UNI. Chapter 9 shows some examples.
I think 120Ω is the value to go with.

Hi,
Please see the following error. the LED state of the RS UNI module is
Green, UI: green, E2 Red.
Also, the document does not give a clear picture of where to connect the terminating resistor. If possible, could you describe where to attach(which terminal point) the terminating resistor? Should we use the internal resistor or put an external resistor?

i don't know exactly which connection type is used. But in the data sheet the connection points are described and also in which case a terminating resistor is necessary.

Hello,
The "Buffer Full" just means that you are not processing the recieved Data. So the recieve buffer will overflow...
Make sure that all processdata connections are setup correctly.
What library are you using to communicate with the Device?

ComSerial or Modbus library maybe?
If you dont use any library please take the handbook as a reference how to communicate with the RS UNI Via Processdata.
