IOL-CONF

Hello,

IOL-CONF requires connected IO-Link devices version 1.1.1. But main manufactures have not such devices yet (for example https://www.ifm.com). So this software is a bit future investment or something else?

Thanks a lot.

  • Hi Dzmitry,

    Unfortunately this question is not related to PLCnext Technology, so you should raise this question through your local Phoenix Contact office.

    However, the people from our IO support team here gave this answer:

    =============================================================

    Version 1.1.1 refers to the IO-Link specification. The current version is 1.1.2. and this version has been released for 5 years. Most IO-Link devices therefore have at least version 1.1.1.

    Which device can you not use?

  • Hi Martin,

    thanks for your quick response. For example this device - https://www.ifm.com/de/de/product/LDL200. It has IO-Link revision 1.1.

  • Here is the next reply from the IO Support team:

    ===================================================

    I suspect that IO-Link revision on the ifm website could mean the revision of the IODD. The V1.1 can be used with the IOL-Conf without problems. I have already imported it for testing and had no problems with it.
