Import PC Worx project

The PLCnext Engineer offers to import PC Worx projects since version 2021.LTS. In this contetxt I have 2 questions:

- How is the import file format *.amlx created?
- What are the advantages of the *.amlx import compared to the PLCopen XML import?

    Hey Götz,

    hope you're doing well, it has been a while since we met  ?.

    To use the "PC Worx" Import feature in PLCnext Engineer you've to wait for the next PC Worx version (included in Suite 188), which will be released ~February this year.

    The new PC Worx version can export than an .amlx version of the project which includes the hardware- and software configuration including the processdata assignment.
    In the first step we are targeting the older Proconos targets (like the ILC 3xx class).

    So, please be patient for a few more weeks and than I guess you will be very satisfied with the upcoming solution.
