HMI opens multiple tabs
Hello all,
I've created a system with multiple PLCNext devices. The HMI of each device can be reached with a button on another HMI. The button is simply programmed to open a URL, which is in this case the IP of another PLCNext.
This works okay, but after a while a lot of tabs are opened. Is there a way to open it in only one tab? Or at least max one tab per device? The window behavior can only be changed to new window or same window (which I use now)...
In some cases, the browser opens an existing tab of the IP. Sometimes it duplicates it multiple times.
FYI, I'm using firefox browser. Google chrome is also used before and it had (about) the same behaviour...

Sorry for the delay.
I have now received this answer:
The developers are now investigating, and I will update this thread when I get more information.
The developers have tested this and are not able to reproduce the behaviour you are seeing.
With the "same window" setting, a new tab is opened once for an IP which hasn’t not been opened yet. Each additional click on the button then simply jumps to the tab that is already open, without opening a new tab.
Are you able to prepare a short video showing the unwanted behaviour, so we can investigate further?
