Connection Failure
Hi,
I just received my Phoenix AXC F 1152 Controller. I am able to flash the lights with PLCNext Engineer but when I try to login I get: "Connection Failure. Could not connect to the controller" and also the BF-D led is red.
Is it possible that this is because I didn't add a SD-Card in the PLC?
I thought this was not necessery to get it up and running but now I am not sure anymore.
Thanks in advance!
Joost

It's a good sign that you can flash the lights - it means the controller can be accessed over the network.
The "Connect" function attempts to connect to the IP address you have specified in the PLC configuration window in PLCnext Engineer - under the tab "Settings", in the section "Ethernet".
This IP address must be reachable from the IP address of your PC, which you can check by pinging that IP address from a command window on your PC.
If you need to change the IP address of the PLC to match the settings in the PLCnext Engineer project, you can do that from the same window you used to flash the lights - there is a button to send the offline parameters to the online device.
