Hello, my name is Iván!

We ran into with this error (ACT BUS FAIL (0x00c4), ErrorCode=0x0c01, AddInfo=0x0001) in our [b]AXC-F 1152[/b] Cockpit - Notifications table , we changed Axionlane F backplane and AXL F BS BK, but this error is still appearing.

In the backplane are connected AI, DI and DO. When the error appears the values of this intputs came to zero.

In attached files you can find the plc logs and also a picture where a temperature variable is represented to show the problem.

Should we update the PLC firmware from HW: 04 FW: 2021.6.0 to HW: 04 FW: 2021.9.0?

Hi Iván,
This doesn't look like any known issue with FW 2021.6, so upgrading the firmware probably won't help in this case.
Are you able to give us a complete list of I/O modules that are connected to the PLC in this case?
(a screen-shot of the "Axioline F" branch of the project tree in PLCnext Engineer will be fine).

I notice that you have configured 8 slots but the PLC tries to contact 10 slots. Maybe not the correct version of your project is downloaded to the PLC?

The drops in values might be caused by a power supply issue.
1. are UL and UP supplied by seperat supplys?
2. is the supply delivering up to 4 A?
or
some EMC troubles are the AI wires shielded?

What are you doing in your application?
Are you maybe changing the Module configurations dynamically during the runtime?

Firts of all, thank you so much for your answer.

You are right, we have now 8 slots (two 4 Axionlane F backplane) at the beginning we have 4 + 6 Axionlane F backplane. The PLC logs belongs to this initial siuation. The correct project version is downloaded to the PLC.

Regarding a power supply issue:

1.- We can try to separate UL and UP.
2.- We also can check it.

In attachement there is a pic with the configuration of the Modules, if it helps: Can we know if we are changing the Module configurations during runtime?

If you aren't changing the module configuration deliberately in your application at run-time, then you're probably not. :-)
(this is only possible using some advanced features).

Please let us know if the power supply adjustments change the result.
