Remote connection with public domain and port forwarding
Hi,
a customer needs a remoting connection between PLCnext Engineer and an AXC F 1152 using a dynamic DNS and port forwarding. On the existing router cannot be forwarded port 41100. The other services forwarded on common ports works fine, e.g. eHMI on port 443.
I have found the string below to start PLCnext Engineer to connect to a specific IP (used for example in NAT applications), is possibile to add also a port parameter to start PLCnext Engineer with a port other than 41100?
C:\Program Files\PHOENIX CONTACT\PLCnext Engineer 2021.0\PLCNENG64.exe /IP:192.168.1.11
Thanks in advance

unfortunatly you can not modify the remoting port in PLCnext Engineer.
At least I can confirm that it will (coming with Engineer 2022.0) not longer be necessary to use the start-up parameters dealing with NAT configurations.
There will be an additional option in PLCnext Engineer to spcify the NAT adress.
