Day Light Saving on PLCnext conroller
Hi Team,
Currently we are in winter time again and we got a call from a customer that the system time of the controller didn't adjust itself. The customers raports are indicating the wrong time.
Adjusting it was simple, but is there a setting of automatically changing the system time with DLS?

UTC doesn't have the concept of summer/winter time, and that is the time that you are setting through PLCnext Engineer.
Summer and Winter time is related to the local time zone, and the release notes for the latest Firmware version (2021.9) state: "Setting local time zones is not fully supported."
There is a way to set the local time on Linux, but it would be best if someone works through this procedure with you. If you are OK to be contacted directly by email (on the address you used to register on this forum), please let us know.
