Modbus TCP - AXC 1050
Dear All,
I have to configure my PLC to communicate with external device via Modbus TCP protocol, because I have to read some data from that device. Please, can you send me an example of project with explanation that contains Modbus TCP configuration?
Also, can you explain how to add a library in PC Worx and PC Worx Express?
Thank you so much for your help, in advance.

Hello Milosav,
I gather that you're using an AXC 1050 - in this case, you will need to use PC Worx, which is suitable for the "classic" AXC controllers. To set up the AXC 1050 as a Modbus client, open PC Worx, switch to the Bus Configuration workspace, then add a Generic Modbus device to the "Modbus" branch of the hardware tree. You will then be able to configure the Modbus device parameters.
To import a library to PC Worx - in the IEC Programming Workspace, right-click on the "Libraries" folder in the Tree View, where you can browse for suitable libraries that have been downloaded from our website and installed on your PC.
The Help system in PC Worx gives more information, and you can also get personal support from your local Phoenix Contact subsidiary.
