No Connection AXC F 2152

English Upside down!

Guten Abend zusammen

Good evening everyone

I have the AXC F 2152 with me to play with.

With Net Names I have already set the IP address correctly so that I can reach the controller on my normal network.

Unfortunately, the two left red LEDs flash at the same time:

"BF C" and "BF D"

The "Run" lights green

"Fail" does not light up at all

"DBG" flashes green

"D" lights up yellow

"E" does not light up

Now to the actual problem with PC Worx Engineer

I simply cannot establish a connection with PC Worx Engineer.

It tells me connection error every time, no answer from the controller

I already found this error here "https://www.plcnext-community.net/forum/#/discussion/178/prevent-plcnext-bf-c-and-bf-d-red-light-from-blinking"

Unfortunately, the page within the article is no longer accessible.

What can I do?

  • Hey Hunter,

    thanks for your inquiry.

First of all don't worry about the BF-D/C LEDs, at least related to the connection problems.

Those LEDs jsut indicates that there is a configured PN Device missing (BF-C Controller) and that there is no connection to the build in PN Device (BF-D Device). --> Please find valuable information for diagnostics in the PLCnext Infocenter Diagnostics - PROFINET (plcnext.help).

For the connection issue, well hard to say, often is on this stage a simple configuration issue the reason.

Maybe you find the getting startet section in the PLCnext Info Center helpful Getting started with PLCnext Engineer.

If you prefer Youtube I can recommend the Tutorials from our partner realpars https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbE0huVLb9Y&list=PLln3BHg93SQ_Htr3cK5xQT_uL82tumfML.

After all this does not help would be good to know which version of PLCnext Engineer and controller firmware (--> Web based Management) you are using.

If you like we can also arrange a MS Teams session.

    BR,

    Frank
