Sudden multiple errors building and uploading

in PLCnext Engineer

Hi,

the following errors occured suddenly and simultaneously while building and uploading the project:

  • PLCNEXT0008: Fehler beim Vorbereiten der Konfiguration für die Steuerung

(Error preparing the configuration for the controller)

  • Connection lost to <ip address>
  • Online modus nicht verfuegbar (Online mode not available)

We have tried to free up some space on the harddrive and the other steps recommended in the comments for the error plcnext0008 to no avail.

The errors persist now for all projects we are trying to upload. Only a single upload was successful, without any motivation, while we tried for at least 30 times.

We are using PLCNext Engineer 2022.3 and cannot update since there are incompatibilities in the newer versions with a device we are using.

We are thankful for any ideas or solutions.

    What is the LED pattern on the controller?

    What is the firmware version running on the controller?

    What is the version of the controller in the PLCnext Engineer project?

    Is it possible to log in to the controller using ssh ? If so:

    • can you copy the file /etc/plcnext/logs/Output.log from the controller, and check if there are any messages in that log file that might indicate a problem?
    • Is there enough space on the controller? (please check this using df -h command)

    Have you tried rebooting the PC that is running PLCnext Engineer, just in case some file(s) are locked somehow?
